The Phoenix - Casa Vacanze Via Cantone 45, Nerano

Marina del Cantone, an open and peaceful bay, idyllic heaven for those who love the wild sea and prefer to stay out of the most known destinations.
Marina del Cantone, overlooking the Gulf of Salerno, is situated between the bay of Ieranto and Recommone. It is famous for its pebble beaches and clear waters. Marina del Cantone is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy a quiet day at the beach, without having to face long walks; it is one of the longest beaches of the peninsula, with free areas and beach resorts.

We loved staying at this nice villa providing great views and direct access to what the Amalfi coast has to offer, located in a residential area nicely away from all the traffic and noise of other places. The villa is spacious inside and outside and quite complete leaving little to be desired. The owners were the warmest people sparing themselves no trouble to make our stay most enjoyable. This made us feel very welcome and quickly gave that feeling like this home being our home away, even if it was only for a week. The communication in English was very good and being locals very helpful and informative. You know you’re in Italy with some small inconveniences here and there, but is really part of the culture and nothing problematic or that did not have a solution very quickly. The idyllic Marina del Cantone is a 10 minute walk and has some very nice restaurants of which we liked Le Sirene most. In the Marina you can also book boat tours directly from and to this Marina and visit Capri, Positano, Amalfi, etc. which we really found worth providing the most awesome views and saves from going through all the busy traffic on the roads around those places which even during our stay in April was quite intense. We loved staying here and would recommend it.

The view from the villa was beautiful, looking out to the gorgeous ocean watching the boats. The seanary was amazing, very pictures . The location was lovely and quiet although saying that the family above us where a tad noisy at times. The host met us at the location with coffee, cake and welcome bottle of wine. I can't recommend this villa enough :) · The walk home from the town. Those hills were a killer until we found out where to get a taxi from.

Nice stay at Villa Phoenix with family and friends. The house is located on an elevated position, which allows a nice view of the sea. There is a small swimming pool to relax and a terrace. The road to access the house is pretty steep and very narrow. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Dear guets. Very friendly owners and very good communication. The restaurants at the bay are only 10 minuts walk away. The Phoenix house has a amazing view over the sea. Many big motor and salling yachts passing by to Amalfi and Capri. We had a very pleasent stay.

This villa is in an amazing location overlooking the sea and the constant changing vista of boats and superyachts. Because of the geography, the roads are challenging but you should know that before you come. Reverse parking at the villa is fun also but no big deal. The meal that was cooked for us on our first night was outstanding and there was so much of it we were eating the remnants of it for another three days. A great stay.

Our Family has spent in Case Phoenix 2 weeks and those have been one of the best two weeks ever on holidays. House is beautiful and owners extremely helpful. Around there is plenty of great restaurants and what is most important, Nerano bay - great beach and port! If you think about relaxing vacation with great food, sea experience there is nothing better! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Upon arrival, we were met by Vincenzo who guided us to the villa. Although we arrived much later than we anticipated, he was there waiting for us with a smile! The villa was beautiful, the view was also very beautiful, but what struck us the most was the amazing hospitality. They quickly took care of any need we had, and arranged for our activities. We were traveling with 2 small children, so the pool was a hit! It's not too deep which was perfect for us. On our last night, Olga (one of the owners) and her family prepared a wonderful meal of all the local foods for us. It was extremely delicious. We will definitely return if ever in Italy again!

We started off by arriving much later than expected, but Vincenzo met us with a smile late in the evening and guided us to the Villa since it is a little tricky to find. We arrived to homemade treats and a beautiful view of the moonlit sea which kicked off our vacation perfectly after our adventurous journey to get there. We were a family with 6 adults and 2 four year old boys and the location turned out to be great for us. The Villa and the view are beautiful and the pool turned out to be perfect for the boys to play in as it wasn't too deep. We enjoyed time by the pool and also down at the beach. Our hosts arranged a boat ride to Capri for us which was a real highlight of our trip! When we arrived down at the dock my husband had forgotten his water shoes and so David who had led us down there gave him his flip flops off his feet to wear for the day! Our hosts were quick to respond to anything we needed and another highlight of our trip was an amazing meal prepared by Olga (and family). This made our last night extra special. Our only regret was that we were leaving very early the next morning and did not get to enjoy the leftovers! The location is so beautiful, but the hospitality was just as great!
